NMC Directs All Medical Colleges To Implement Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Portal

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has informed regarding the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Portal (PMNDP) in all Medical Colleges including both Government and Private.
As per the notice issued by Dr Sandhya Bhullar, NMC Secretary all medical institutes which are providing dialysis services are now required to use the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Portal (PMNDP).
"This is to bring, to your kind attention that all medical colleges (both (Government and Private) which are providing dialysis services are directed to use the PMNDP portal, to provide smooth delivery of necessary dialysis services to every patient having unique ABHA JD (UHID) and to improve visibility & have a uniform IT platform for capturing details of all the beneficiaries," stated the NMC notice.
"It is further informed that the portal (https://pmndp.nhp.gov.in/en) is now fully functional and well stabilized. If any training is required to operate the said portal, it will be organized by the National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC)," the notice added

Recently, the NMC has invited applications from medical colleges for Batch Admission for the academic year 2022-23.
"Colleges which are pending for recognition/continuation of recognition for Under-Graduate or Post-Graduate Courses are permitted to apply for batch admissions for the academic year 2022-23," stated the NMC notice issued by Dr BN Gangadhar President and Dr G Suryanarayana Raju Member of Medical Assessment and Rating Board.

Earlier, the NMC had asked the medical colleges to submit information with respect to the Implementation of NIC Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS), Hospital Management System (HMS) in all medical colleges and Connecting CCTV feed to Command and Control Center at NMC.
The NMC activated a google form link for the purpose. The authorities at the medical colleges were required to click on the link of the provided google form and fill up the relevant information.
NMC had released guidelines and user manual for the Implementation of AEBAS, HMS in institutes and Connecting CCTV feed to Command and Control Center at NMC.

ii) Further Additional information regarding implementation of NIC solution for Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) for Medical Colleges under NMC at Annexure-2.
iii) Please note that correct URL for getting ABDM Health Facility ID is https: / / facility.abdm.gov.in/ .
iv) User manual for health facility Configuration, OPD registration and OPD Configuration for onboarding into patient registration module of e-hospital for the willing MCHs only at Annxure-3.
