J&K-Based Doctor Dies Of Electric Shock While Hoisting Flag On Hospital Rooftop

Kathua: In a tragic incident, a doctor died due to electric shock while hoisting a national flag on the roof-top of a hospital in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district.
The doctor, identified as Pawan Kumar of the Chadwal area, died of electric shock when he come in contact with the 11KV power line on the rooftop of the government primary health center (PHC) at Haria Chak while hoisting the tricolour, they said.

A police team reached on the spot and shifted the body to Hiranagar hospital, the officials said.
team had earlier reported that in an unfortunate incident, a doctor from Kulgam district had died in a road accident who was on his way home.
A doctor had been killed when his car skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district. The accident took place near Sangaldan town.
The deceased had been identified as Dr Muzaffar Ahmed Wani, a resident of the Kulgam district.
