WBMCC Notifies On Seat Surrender Option For PG AYUSH Candidates, Details

West Bengal- The West Bengal Medical Counselling Counselling (WBMCC) has released an notice regarding the seat surrender option in round 2 for WB PG Ayush counselling for the academic year 2024.
As per the notice, the seat surrender for already admitted candidates in Round 2 of WB PG Ayush Counseling 2024 will be made available on 24th October from 10 am to 3 pm. With this, the online Registration for Round 3 will start after 4 pm on 24 October 2024.

Furthermore, the seat surrender of the admitted candidate during the process of Round 2 is allowed but with forfeiture of admission fees. Such candidate must apply in person before the admitted college for seat surrender and must receive the server-generated seat surrender letter. Otherwise, the name of such candidate will continue to appear in the admitted candidate list of the said college. Also, such candidate is however not allowed any further in the counselling process. The seat surrender is not allowed from Round 3 counselling any further till the counselling process is over. The seat surrender with payment of the bond penalty is possible only after the counselling of all rounds is over for the session 2024-25.
Meanwhile, the WB PG AYUSH round 2 counselling 2024 began on September 27, 2024, and ended on 07 October 2024. This year, a total of 6 state government universities and 11 private universities are participating in WB AYUSH Counselling 2024.
AIAPGET, namely the ‘All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test’, is a single entrance examination conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission to Postgraduate AYUSH Courses for the current academic year.
All the AIAPGET Post Graduate (Ayurveda / Homeopathy) aspired candidates are hereby informed that Counselling for West Bengal State Quota seats in State Government AYUSH institutions will be conducted by the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) under the Directorate of Medical Education, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.
