Chandigarh: The Employees State Insurance Corporation Model Hospital (ESIC Model Hospital Chandigarh), has released vacancies for Full-Time Specialists/Part Time Specialists, and Senior Resident Post on a Contractual Basis. The selection will be done based on a walk-in-interview.
ESIC is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. The ESI scheme is a self-financed comprehensive social security scheme devised to protect the employees covered under the scheme against financial distress arising out of events of sickness, disablement, or death due to employee injuries.
The ESIC has its headquarters in New Delhi besides 23 regional offices, 26 sub-regional offices in the states, and over 800 local offices throughout the country to support the implementation of the ESI scheme. In addition, the Medical Benefit Council, a specialized body that advises the ESIC on the administration of Medical benefits is functioning.

Senior Residents - 05
The Vacancies are in the Department of - General Medicine, General Surgery, Radiology, and Anesthesia.
Senior Residents (Against GDMO) - 05
The Vacancies are in the Department of - Casualty /Emergency, Obst and Gynae, and Pediatrics.
Date for Walk-in-Interview: 8th April 2021.

How to apply
1. Candidates fulfilling the educational qualification and other eligibility conditions should submit their application with one set of self-attested copies of the relevant documents (as listed under CHECKLIST on the last page) along-with Annexure 'A' which is available with this document.
2. Candidates should report in the office of Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital, Industrial Area Phase-II, Chandigarh at 9:00 am on the stipulated date(8/4/2021).
3. Documents will be accepted for scrutiny strictly till 12:00 Noon. Candidates found eligible will be called for an interview. Candidates reporting after 12:00 Noon will not be entertained for a walk-in-interview.
