UP DGME Releases Round 2 NEET Counselling Schedule, Registration Details For MBBS, BDS Candidates

Uttar Pradesh : Through a recent notice, the UPDGME has released the time Schedule for second round of NEET 2021 Online counseling for Government/Private Medical/Dental Colleges/Institutions/ University admissions into MBBS/ BDS Courses this academic year. Besides, the UPDGME has published the registration and fee details for NEET candidates who are about to participate in the Round 2 counselling.
All the concerned candidates are advised to takenote of the following schedule as well as the registration details released by the counselling body as mentioned.
Date of Online registration
17th Februrary 2022 (From 11:00 AM) to 21st Februrary 2022
Date of Documents Verification of academic
certificates/Caste/ other documents and submission of security money
18 th Februrary 2022 to 22nd Februrary 2022
Date of declaration of Merit list of registered candidates
22nd Februrary 2022
Date of on-line Choice Filling & Locking
04th March 2022 (From 2:00 PM) to
07th March 2022 (Upto 2:00 PM)
Declaration of result of seat allotment
08th/09th March 2022
Date for downloading the allotment letters & Admission
09th March 2022 to 14th March 2022 (Except Sunday & Government
Holidays)
For participation in counseling NEET UG 2021 candidates will have to compulsorily register -online by depositing Rs. 2000/- online through Website https://upneet.jiov.in
Online Registered candidates will have to get their documents verified at the nodal centers selected by them. For this they will have to appear in person with their original documents at the nodal centre.
Candidates registered in first round of counseling are not required to register again.
For PH candidates, please see the Government of India notice dated 01-12-2021, the above notice contains the list of centers which will issue the Disability Certificate.Notice has also been displayed on the departmental website. www.dgme.up.gov.in
Candidate will have to deposit security fee (Rs. 30,0001- for Government seat and Rs.2, 00,000/- for Private Medical seat & Rs. 100,000/- for Private Dental seats) as CTS Bank Draft in the name of "Director General Medical Education & Training, U.P Lucknow. Payable at Lucknow, at the nodal centre.
If a candidate is eligible for government state quota seats, such candidate can participate for both government and private Medical/ Dental seats by submitting Security fee as bank draft of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rs. Two Lac) and by submitting DD of Rs. 1,00,000/- Lac (Rs. One Lac).
Only those candidates will be eligible for choice filling whose original documents have been verified at the nodal centre and they have deposited their security fee.
During choice filling, candidates should take care and opt for the collegest course in which he/she is genuinely interested. After choice filling if seat is allotted, a candidate has to take the admission compulsorily. If admission is not taken then his /her security money will be forfeited.
Registered candidates should ensure to lock their choices after the choice filling. If after choice filling the choices are not locked then the choices of such candidates will not be considered for seat allotment process.
