Sponsored DNB Post MBBS Admissions: NBE Issues Notice On NOC Submission For Final Mop-Up Round Counselling, Details

Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the conduction of the final mop-up round of counseling for DNB (Post MBBS) seats for the 2023 admission session. In its notice, the NBE has given the deadline for submitting NOC for the counselling round.
As per the notice, the schedule of the final mop-up round shall be notified in due course.
Eligibility -
As per the handbook of counseling for Post MBBS seats of the 2023 admission session, all such candidates who have not been offered any seat during the first or second round of counseling will be eligible for the final mop-up round of counseling.
The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India vide letter No. U. 12021/07/2023- MEC (Pt-I) dated 20th September 2023 has reduced the qualifying percentile for NEETPG 2023 to ‘Zero’ across all categories. All such candidates who are now declared qualified in NEET-PG 2023 pursuant to the reduction of qualifying percentile for NEET-PG 2023 to ‘Zero’ across all categories and fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned in NBEMS notice dated 04.07.2023 regarding admissions to DNB (Post MBBS) seats shall be able to register for the final mop-up round of DNB (Post MBBS) seats for 2023 admission session.

Such eligible candidates are required to submit the request to their parent organization/ cadre controlling authority. Based on the request, the cadre controlling authority should issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) in favor of the candidate and submit it to NBEMS in the prescribed format. The link to the format of NOC is enclosed in the notice below.
Fresh registration for the mop-up round shall not be permitted to those who already had the opportunity/eligibility to participate in the counseling and chose not to participate or were declared ineligible due to non-submission of NOC as per the prescribed format.
The NOC shall be accepted if furnished in the prescribed format ONLY. NOC can be submitted latest by 23rd November 2023 through the Communication Web Portal (CWP) of NBEMS. CWP can be accessed under the “Contact us” tab on the NBEMS website. NOC furnished through any mode other than CWP shall not be accepted.
