Haryana: In an unfortunate incident, a 57-year old doctor undergoing treatment succumbed to the coronavirus, on Friday last week.
Confirmation to this effect was given by the district unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
The deceased doctor has been identified as Dr. Archana Bhatia, a Gynecologist with her privately-owned clinic in Sector 7. She was under medical care after testing Covid-19 positive and was immediately hospitalized two weeks ago.

However, she passed away last week fighting the deadly virus.
According to The Tribune, her husband had also tested Covid-19 positive last month but he recovered from it.
had earlier reported that a doctor attached to Ner Chowk Medical College in Mandi had succumbed to COVID-19 at a private hospital in Chandigarh.
