New Delhi-In an important update for medical aspirants, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that the final results declared remain unchanged. The MCC has issued a notice in this regard after withdrawing the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 Round 2 final results due to a discrepancy reported by one of the government medical colleges. According to the official notice issued by the MCC under Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in this regard, a government medical college inadvertently submitted twice the number of available seats for Round 2 counselling. These excess seats were mistakenly allocated to candidates in the recently declared final result. As a corrective measure, the competent authority directed MCC to revise the Round 2 results, and consequently, the reporting process for candidates has been put on hold until further notice. The notice then further advised candidates to wait for the revised final result of Round 2 before proceeding with reporting to their allotted colleges. The candidates are advised to download the allotment letter and proceed for reporting along with the documents as per the schedule. Now, in another notice, the MCC has stated, "In supersession to earlier notice dated 18.09.2025 at 04:30 PM (Ref. U-11011/07/2025-MEC), it is hereby clarified that the result remains unchanged as declared on 18.09.2025 at 11:40 AM. Hence, the candidates are advised to download the allotment letter and proceed for reporting as per schedule without any change."
