Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, formerly known as Willingdon Hospital, was established by the British for their staff and had only 54 beds. After independence, its control was shifted to New Delhi Municipal Committee. In 1954, its control was again transferred to the Central Government of Independent India.

What are the Terms & Conditions?
a) Prescribed Application form duly filled & signed (Annexure-I) should be accompanied with self-attested copies of Final mark sheet of M.B.B.S examination, DMC registration certificate, Internship completion certificate, Category certificate, 10th class passing certificate and copy of Aadhar Card, PAN Card along with non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 800/-for UR & OBC candidates in favor of PAO, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi-110001, Demand draft should be issued after the date of EWS/SC/ST & PWD Candidates are exempted from Fee. Application form addressed to The Medical Superintendent, Dr. R.M.L Hospital, New Delhi should reach Central Diary and Dispatch Section, Near Gate no. 1, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi latest by 22.02.2021 till 4:00 p.m. The hospital will not be responsible for any postal delay. The application fee once deposited shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
b) Incomplete application in any respect will not be considered. All previous applications received in this hospital will be treated as canceled and only applications in response to this on the Prescribed form will be considered.
c) The selection will be based on Written Examination.
d) Cut-off for Written Examination will be 50 % for UR/EWS, 45 % for OBC, 40 % for SC/ST and additional 5 % relaxation will be given to PWD candidates in their respective category.
e) The schedule of the written examination will be mentioned on the Admit Card/displayed on the hospital website.
f) The List of eligible candidates for the written examination will be uploaded on the hospital website only (www.rmlh.nic.in). After scrutiny the list of rejected candidates will also be displayed on the hospital website.
g) If OBC Candidate does not submit a valid OBC certificate, the candidature will be rejected.
h) If EWS Candidate does not submit a valid EWS certificate, the candidature will be rejected.
i) Appointment to selected/waitlisted candidates will only be given after verification of original documents.
j) Status of Hepatitis B vaccination of applicants should be submitted as an undertaking.
k) The competent authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this as a whole or in part without assigning any reason, thereof.
l) No TA/DA will be paid for this purpose.
m) All future information, Corrigendum, clarification in this regard will be displayed on the hospital website (www.rmlh.nic.in). No separate notification will be sent.
n) The applicants are advised to visit the website periodically for updates.
o) If it is found, that the applicant has suppressed any information or given wrong information his/her Junior Residency (Non – Academic) will be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason.
