Kolkata: To verify the allegations of financial irregularities against the former principal of RG Kar Medical College Hospital, Sandip Ghosh during his tenure there, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), investigating this case recently conducted a search operation for 13 hours at Ghosh's residence and seized the documents recovered from the spot.
The investigation team of the agency along with central forces, reached Ghosh's residence at approximately 6 am on August 25. However, they were required to wait for nearly one and a half hours before he finally opened the doors. After continuing the search operation for 13 hours, the agency came out at nearly 8.50 pm, carrying piles of documents that they reportedly seized from the premises.
