Rajkot: 4 Homeopathy Students Die In Car Crash

Rajkot: Four Homeopathy students of Rajkot Homeopathic Medical College succumbed to death in a tragic car accident that took place on the outskirts of Rajkot city on Tuesday. One other student was critical after sustaining severe injuries in the accident.
According to a recent report by TOI, the incident occurred near Vajdi village, at Kalavad road, 12km from Rajkot. The deceased have been identified as Homeopathy students, all aged 22 years, in the last semester of their course. There were 5 students who were returning after a visit to the Primary Health Centre at Khirasara village.
After their car crashed with the bus, 3 students died on the spot, one survived the accident but later succumbed to her injuries at a private hospital and one student was critical.

"Primary probe suggests that the car was being driven at high speed. The driver, (Goswami), lost control over the vehicle at a curve on the road and crashed into a Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus coming from the opposite direction, after jumping the road divider," Police sub-inspector, KK Jadeja, of Lodhika Police Station told informed The Times of India.
Certain sources informed the daily that the bodies of the victims were badly disfigured and no part of the vehicle was left intact. Officials had to resort to using grass-cutters to extract the bodies of the victims from the remains of the car.
