Maharashtra: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) declared a provisional list of eligible/deficiencies/not eligible applicants for admission PhD courses. Details related to the submission of online choice of centre preferences and seat matrix have also been released.
Per the notice, on scrutiny of the documents of PhD entrance test qualified, the University receives applicants for admission to PhD Courses for the academic year 2022-23; the provisional list of eligible/not eligible and deficit documents applicants is published on the website. Applicants should note that this is the provisional list of eligible / not eligible and deficit document applications. These are likely to change as per clarification/queries/fulfilment of deficiencies received by the University from the applicants.
Those applicants whose names have been considered in the deficiency list or those applicants who have not submitted hard copies of required documents yet to the University are requested to submit the scan copies of these documents as mentioned against their name(s); in the said list before 'Discrepancy' column through the mail on email id udc@muhs.ac.in on or before 23rd November 2022.
Suppose any applicant has a grievance/Objection regarding the provisional list. In that case, they should submit their grievance/Objection through the email on email id udc@muhs.ac.in along with scan copy of supporting documents up to 23rd November 2022.
MUHS has further intimated that if the reserved category applicants fail to submit the documents required to claim benefits of reservation within the given time, their application will be considered in the open category, and they will have to pay fees as per open category applicants. In addition, an applicant must obtain at least 50% marks on Entrance Test.
Submission of online choice of centre preferences –
1. The provisionally eligible applicants and applicants mentioned in the list of deficiencies are instructed to submit their Centre's preferences in the subject of the PET Exam online mode only by clicking on the link https://intranet.muhs.ac.in/admission_phd_application_form_for_preference.aspx on or before 23rd November 2022 at 11:59 pm.
2. Preferences submitted for a subject other than the PET subject will not be considered.
3. Before submitting the choice of preferences, MUHS has advised the applicants to go through the Seat matrix carefully (Centre-wise & category wise seat position) and list of minority and women's colleges to know the details about the subject wise and Centre wise number of seats made available for admissions.
4. The applicants who have not qualified PhD entrance test and those who have not submitted a fine/penalty against the Unfair Means Cases are out of the PhD admission process and are not required to submit the preferences.
The candidates note that the final merit list and allotment of provisional admission letters for admission to the PhD course for the academic year 2022-23 will be published on the University website shortly.
