Chandigarh: PGIMER Counselling Schedule for INICET (MD/MS) July 2023 Session

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) has announced the schedule for the 3rd counselling/seat allotment to the candidates for admission to the INICET (MD/MS) course for the July 2023 session.

The candidates who applied under the category for admission to the MD/MS course at PGIMER Chandigarh and qualified for the INI-CET (July-2023) conducted by AIIMS New Delhi are informed that the 3rd physical counselling/seat allotment for admission to the above-said courses will be held on the 18th August 2023 (Friday) at 11:00 AM in the Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

All the qualified and eligible candidates are required to produce NOC and certificates from their respective employers before counseling, failing which they will not be considered for counselling and admission.

Candidates are requested to be seated in the auditorium at 10:45 AM on 18.08.2023.

Tentative Seat Position for 3rd Round of Seat Allotment

There are 12 seats vacant for the 3rd round:

• Biochemistry: 2 seats
• Community Medicine: 3 seats
• Forensic Medicine: 1 seat
• Microbiology: 3 seats
• Pharmacology: 3 seats

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is a public medical university in Chandigarh and was conceived in 1960 as a centre of excellence. It has educational, medical research, and training facilities for its students, including all specialities, super specialities, and sub-specialities. Apart from clinical services, PGI also provides training in almost all disciplines of Medicine, including postgraduate and post-doctoral degrees, diplomas, and fellowships. Admission to post-doctoral and postgraduate courses conducted at PGIMER is made twice a year. The sessions commence in January and July. Admission to the courses is made on merit on an all-India basis.
