NTRUHS Invites Applications for State Teacher Awards 2022

Vijayawada: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has invited eligible University Teachers to apply for State Teacher Awards for 2022. The last application date will be 10th August 2022, with all the required evidence/supporting documents to the University/Scrutiny Committee. As per the notice, the eligibility criteria for University Teachers as given in the G.O Ms. No 25 will be followed.

A 5-member Scrutiny Committee shall be constituted with the Vice-Chancellor of the University as the Chairman and other Members from along Principals, faculty Chairmen/Deans of the faculty to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor. The Scrutiny Committee shall scrutinize all the applications received for the State Teacher Awards award, per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the said GO. The Scrutiny Committee shall verify the evidence submitted by the applicant, confirm the authenticity of the documents submitted, and validate the marks/score of each criteria.

The committee should verify for the disciplinary action taken against the candidates or allegations/court cases/disciplinary cases, if any, pending against them and disqualify such applicants from being considered for award. A consolidated list shall be prepared group-wise, with the Scrutiny Committee scores and all the evidence submitted by the applicant.

Important Dates and Requirements

• The consolidated list, along with the hard copies of applications and evidence/supporting documents, shall reach the office of the Secretary, AP State Council of Higher Education, before 5:00 pm on 18th August 2022.
• The consolidated list along with the hard copies of applications received after the due date and those without the supporting documents of applicants shall summarily be rejected.

A certificate is required from the registrar of the University stating that the recommended candidates are not having any allegations/court cases/disciplinary cases pending against them and were not given punishment by the University or any other institution where the candidate worked before joining university service.

The Registrars are directed to give wide publicity among all the teachers by circulating to all the academic departments, placing the request for application for State Teacher Awards on the University website and sending emails to the faculty to ensure the dissemination of information is perfectly done.
