MCC Announces Extended Schedule for Special Round of SS Counselling

New Delhi - Through a recent notice, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has announced the extended schedule for a special round of SS counselling.

Schedule

  • 1. Fresh Registration: up to 12:00 Noon of 07.02.2024
  • 2. Reset Registration: up to 10:00 AM of 07.02.2024
  • 3. Payment Facility: up to 03:00 PM of 07.02.2024
  • 4. Choice Filling: up to 11:55 PM of 07.02.2024
  • 5. Choice Locking: will get activated from 04:00 PM of 07.02.2024 up to 11:55 PM of 07.02.2024

According to MCC's previous notice, registration was scheduled from February 5th, 2024, and February 6th, 2024, until 07:00 PM. The payment facility was open from February 5th, 2024, until 11:55 PM on February 6th, 2024. The choice filling was set from February 5th, 2024, until 08:00 AM on February 7th, 2024, while choice locking was from 08:00 PM on February 6th, 2024, until 08:00 AM on February 7th, 2024.

Earlier MCC had informed all the eligible candidates for NEET SS 2023 that a special round will be conducted by the competent authority. This special round will be conducted to fill the remaining vacant DM/M.Ch/DNB SS seats after Round 2 of AIQ SS Counseling 2023.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an organisation under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate and super-speciality medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges. It allots seats online based on the candidate's score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Factors considered during allotment are merit, reservation eligibility and the preference list submitted by the candidate.
