New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed about the Extension of the schedule for Choice Filling of Round 1 NEET SS Counselling for admissions to DM, MCh, DNB SS courses this academic year 2020-21.
Notifying so, the MCC stated that it is in the process of adding new seats in the seat matrix of Round-1 for NEET SS Counselling 2020 which were not available for choice filling earlier as per the grievances of candidates, being received.
Accordingly, the website www.mcc.nic.in had been temporarily suspended to make the necessary changes from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM of 07.12.2020.
The MCC further informed that the schedule of Choice Filling has been extended till 11:59 PM of 09.12.2020 to facilitate candidates to exercise newly added choices.

NEET-SS 2020 was conducted on 15th September 2020. NEET-SS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various DM/MCh courses as per the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2016. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to DM/MCh courses as per the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2016 w.e.f. 2017 admission session. Qualifying NEET-SS is mandatory for entry to DM/MCh courses under various Universities/ Institutions in the country.
