NEET PG: AFMS Issues Notice On Provisional Eligibility Of Priority III, IV Candidates, Releases List, Check Details

Pune- The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has recently issued a notice for Priority IV candidates, medical officers by para-military organisations and other government of India Organisations for post-graduate courses MD, MS and DNB through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Exam 2024 in AFMS Institutions for the academic year 2024.
As per the notice, Any applicant who had applied to be considered as a Priority-III and Priority-IV candidate and whose name is not mentioned due to non-submission of the requisite set of documents for Post Graduate Courses in AFMS Institutions through NEET PG 2024 and NEET MDS 2024 is further directed to forward the same by 05: 00 hrs on 18 Oct 2024 through email on official email ID, which is mentioned in the notice, after which the provisional eligible list will be treated as ‘Final’ and no further representations shall be entertained thereafter.

Meanwhile, AFMS has also released a list of provisionally eligible candidates of Priority-IV for PG admission in AFMS Institutions for the academic session 2024-2027. As per the list, a total of 238 candidates' names were mentioned in the list.
The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a leading medical training institute in Pune, India, in the state of Maharashtra. The college is managed by the Indian Armed Forces. Established in May 1948 as a post-graduate teaching institution. The institution primarily imparts training to medical undergraduates and postgraduates, dental postgraduates, nursing cadets and paramedical staff. Patient care forms an integral part of its training curriculum. The institution is responsible for providing the entire pool of specialists and super specialists to the Armed Forces. The college is also involved in conducting research in various medical subjects as well as those aspects which would affect the morale and performance of the Armed Forces both in war and peace.
