NEET PG results cancelled for 22 candidates, 11 FMGE candidates face similar action

New Delhi: TheNational Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS)has cancelled the results of 22 candidates who appeared forNEET PGbetween 2021 and 2025. The information to this effect comes from a recent notification published by the NBE on its official website. The scorecards and results of each of the 22 candidates have been deemed invalid by NBE. Similar action has been taken against 11 FMGE candidates who appeared between the same timeline. Why the cancellation? As per the notification, of the 22 candidates whose results have been invalidated, 13 appeared in NEET PG 2025, three in 2024, four in 2023, and one each in 2022 and 2021. While one candidate was disqualified following the disposal of a petition before the Karnataka High Court, the remaining 21 candidates were found guilty of using unfair means by the NBE ethics committee. The board mentioned, “Producing the said scorecard and/or result of NEET-PG of the respective session for any purposes, including but not limited to employment, enrolment, registration, or admission to PG courses, shall be unlawful.” “NBEMS disclaims any responsibility or liability arising from employment, admission, or enrolment based on the NEET PG result cancelled herein above,” it added. Similar action for FMGE candidates: Moreover, the NBE has also cancelled the candidature of 11 students who appeared in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) between 2021 and 2025 due to the use of unfair means. *Score Cards issued, if any, for FMGE of respective session to ... candidates stands CANCELLED. Producing the said score card and/or result of FMGE of respective session for any purposes, including but not limited to, employment, enrolment/registration, admissions to PG courses, higher education etc. shall be unlawful. NBEMS disclaims any responsibility/liability, whatsoever, arising due to employment, admission to higher education, enrolment/registration based on the result of FMGE which has been CANCELLED," the NBE stated in the notice.
