NEET 2023: Choice Filling Process For Round 1 Begins In Gujarat, 11442 Seats Available

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has announced the schedule for choice filling for round 1, provisional merit list, and seat matrix for NEET UG 2023.
As per the notice, the choice-filling process can be carried out by the candidates till 4.8.2023 (3:00 pm). Display of choices filled by candidates will be till 4.8.2023 (midnight).
Guidelines for choice filling –
Online allotment of seats is done on the basis of merit cum choice in institutes permitted by the concerned council.
Choice can be decided by the candidate on the following criteria –
1. Course of choice
2. Institute/Place of choice
3. Government or Self-financed Institute
4. Tuition fees
Candidates are instructed to fill all the available choices irrespective of the institute’s status (permitted /recognized) so that during the process of allotment if any institute gets permission, you can get admission in that seat.
For Online Choice Filling, visit the website: http://medadmgujarat.org/.
Click on the “Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic & Homeopathy” tab under “Undergraduate Admission”. A new window will appear on the computer screen.
Click on the “Apply for Admission in Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, and Ayurvedic” button. A new window will appear on the computer screen. [“Apply for Admission in Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, and Ayurvedic”
Click on “Candidate Registration/Login”. A new window will appear on the computer screen.
Enter your USER ID (Sr No. of PIN), Password, 14 Digit PIN, Captcha & Click on Submit button. A new window will appear on the computer screen.
Click on “CHOICE DETAILS”. 3 options will be displayed below –
1. Available Choice: you can see all available choices
2. Fill Choice: to start your choice-filling process
3. Print Filled Choice: after locking your choices you can take the printout of your choice list [Print Filled Choice
Click on “Available Choice” to start the process of choice filling. A new window will appear on the computer screen.
CHOICE AVAILABLE: The candidates can see all available choices. They can filter out the choice based on options are as under –
1. Branch: MEDICAL / DENTAL / AYURVEDA / HOMEOPATHY
2. Institute Type: GOV / SFI / GIA
3. Seat Type: GOVERNMENT SEAT (GQ) / MANAGEMENT SEAT (MQ) / NRI SEAT (NQ)
Click on “Fill Choice” to start the process of choice filling. A new window will appear on the computer screen.
Filter choices by Branch, institute, institute type, and seat type.
Branch: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS.
Institute type: Blue colour – Govt. and Gant-in-aid Institute; Green colour – Self-financed institute
Seat Type: GQ - Government Seat; MQ: Management Seat; NQ: NRI Seat.
Institute: Name of particular institute.
The candidates need to add choices; they can add an unlimited number of choices.
The candidates can re-arrange their choices by serial number.
The candidates can delete all filled choices and can start choosing new choices again.
Click “add” in the left side panel ⇒ choice will be shifted to the right side panel.
SAVE CHOICE: To save filled choices.
SAVE & EXIT: To save filled choices and exit from the choice filling page.
After saving and exiting the choices page, the candidates can review their choices. Click on “Modify Choices” to modify choices. After typing 14-digit PIN no., they can lock their choices after clicking on “Lock Choices.”
Candidate must take print-out of locked choices. Whenever any query arises, the committee will consider print-out of your locked choices only.
The candidates can Un-Lock and modify their filled choices after entering 14-digit PIN No. Till the time and date decided by ACPUGMEC.
If the candidates fail to lock choices, it will be automatically locked on the last day of choice filling.

Choice filling facility and seat matrix is available for all Ayurveda and Homeopathy graduate colleges, but before the due time of seat allotment to the college which has permission from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM)/ National Commission for Homeopathy (NCH), Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi. Also, if the affiliation of the university is found, only then the seat will be allotted.
Choice filling facility and seat matrix is available for all Ayurveda and Homeopathy undergraduate colleges, but before the due time of seat allotment to the college which has permission from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM)/ National Commission for Homeopathy ( NCH), Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi. Also, if the affiliation of the university is received, only then the seat will be allotted.
After admitting all reserved category candidates to reserved seats, reserved category seats are transferable to unreserved category seats. This process will be done at the time of allotment of the second round. E.g. NRI quota to Management quota and SC, ST, SEBC, EWS to General (Open) category and PwD which will be transferred to that category

Seat matrix –
11442 Seats are allotted for round 1 NEET UG counseling. MBBS has 5414 seats, BDS has --995, Ayurveda has 1968 seats, and Homeopathy has 3065 seats allotted.
