Mumbai Doctor Threatened Over Parking Dispute Outside Her Clinic

Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a woman doctor was allegedly assaulted and threatend by a 16-year-old teenager in front of her clinic over a parking dispute involving a two-wheeler. The Mankund police on Saturday booked three women and the teenager in connection with the case.
The incident occurred after the doctor requested the teenager to move his two-wheeler, which was parked in front of her clinic. The minor allegedly threatened to set the doctor's clinic on fire.
According to reports in The Mid-day, the doctor’s husband stated, “My wife operates a clinic in Sathe Nagar, Mankhurd. When a two-wheeler was parked near the clinic, she asked the owner to move it. The boy refused and allegedly threatened her, saying, ‘Do you remember the Kolkata rape case? Something similar could happen here.’

He further added, “My wife was threatened by the boy and a group of people who came with him. She was assaulted by the mob, and an FIR is being filed.”
The Mankhurd police have filed an FIR against the boy and three other women under the relevant sections of the BNS. Senior PI Mahadev Koli of Mankhurd police station commented that they will take appropriate action according to the law.
According to the Mankhurd police, the incident reportedly began when the victim allegedly slapped the minor boy, prompting him to gather a mob outside her clinic. Physical altercations have occurred there, and the matter is currently under investigation. “The accused include a minor boy and three women. We will take legal action against all of them,” the police official added. The minor has called up his relatives for help.
According to police, "Three women, one of them unidentified, reached the spot and thrashed the doctor using umbrellas. They also tore her clothes, while the boy threatened her'', news agency PTI reported.
As the investigation unfolds, the focus is on resolving the matter fairly and implementing measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
