Raisen: Woman Gives Birth to Triplets in Ambulance
A 24-year-old woman gave birth to triplets, all baby boys, in an ambulance while being taken to a hospital in Madhya Pradesh’s Raisen district, an official said.
Jyoti Bai of Pipliya Goli village was first taken to the Goharganj primary health centre after she complained of stomach pain on Friday evening.

However, her condition deteriorated, prompting the health centre to send her to the state-run Sultania Hospital in Bhopal by the government’s 108 ambulance service, said the official.
Dr Sandeep Maran, who accompanied the woman in the ambulance, said she went into labour during the journey and delivered a set of triplets near Mandideep, some 20 kms from the state capital.
Maran said the mother and her three newborn boys were taken to Sultania Hospital, adding that all are healthy and being monitored by doctors.
Telemedicine Service in Jammu and Kashmir
A team had earlier reported that Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh had launched the first free Telemedicine service of Jammu and Kashmir in an ambulance, 'Doctor on Wheels'. The minister said that this is the first-ever free telemedicine service launched near the international border in the Kathua district.
Sharing a video of the ambulance service, the minister tweeted, "Jammu and Kashmir's first-ever Free Telemedicine service launched near International Border in district Kathua. 'Doctor on Wheels' has earlier successfully spent 3 months in 185 villages of district Doda where 3,600 patients were attended."
The ambulance is equipped with the latest lab technology and can connect patients with senior doctors in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Surat and Ahmedabad. The facility will provide relief to people living in the far-flung areas of Kathua, where healthcare services are poor.
