MP DME Extends Date Of Reporting For Round 1 NEET PG Candidates

Madhya Pradesh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Madhya Pradesh) extended the date of joining for PG Medical and PG Dental candidates of round 1 of the counselling process. The candidates can now join till 19th October 2022, 6:00 pm.
The counselling process for PG Medical and PG Dental admission will be carried out based on NEET PG/NEET MDS 2022. All the rounds of the counselling process will be carried out online. The registration process was opened before the 1st round of counselling and will again be opened during the Mop–Up round. The candidates who have not been able to do registration earlier only will be able to register during the Mop-Up round. Once the candidates are registered need not register again.
The 1st round of counselling will only be for domicile state candidates or any candidate with an MBBS/BDS degree from any recognized medical/dental college in the state. After the 1st round of counselling, candidates outside the state can also apply. But these candidates will be allotted seats only when domicile candidates are not available on the merit list.
Eligibility criteria –
1. The candidates must have qualified for NEET PG/NEET MDS.
2. The candidates must have passed MBBS/BDS from an institute recognized by MCI/DCI.
3. The candidates must have completed the compulsory rotatory internship on or before 31st March 2022.
The Department of Medical Education conducts MP NEET PG counselling on behalf of the Government of Madhya Pradesh to provide admission into MD/MS/MDS and PG Diploma courses in medical/dental colleges.
The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental and paramedical colleges in the state.
Recently team reported that DME informed about the online Mop-Up round for BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, and GNM. In addition, the seat matrix for the same has also been released. The candidates could fill in the choices till 12th October 2022 up to 11:59 pm for the Mop-Up round online counselling process. A total of 6494 seats are allocated for the Mop-Up round of the counselling process.
