More PG Medical, DNB Seats In Seat Matrix, MCC Notifies On Round 2 NEET PG Counselling, Details

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee, MCC under DGHS, has informed about the conduction of Round 2 NEET PG counselling in correspondence to the addition of more PG medical and DNB seats in the Round 2 seat matrix.
According to the MCC notice, many PG/ PG DNB colleges who have received LoPs from NMC/ NBE after Round-1 of counselling started are still contributing seats for Round-2 of counselling.
Therefore, all the concerned candidates participating for Round-2 of PG Counselling 2021 are advised to take note of the following schedule:
The New Registration/ Payment Facility for Round-2 of counselling will begin on 04.02.2022.
The Choice Filling facility will be available from 07.02.2022
The revised schedule for PG Counselling 2022 will be uploaded on MCC website shortly.
Earlier, the MCC had issued a clarification on the validity of the OBC/EWS certificates in reference to the NEET and NEET PG counselling 2021.
In reference to PG / UG Counselling 2021, it is informed to all participating colleges/ institutes that OBC/ EWS Certificates issued between the following period will be considered 'VALID' for this academic year for respective counselling.
1. Period of 1st April, 2020 to start of Reporting of Round-1 i.e 3rd Feb, 2022 for PG Counselling 2021.
2. Period of 1st April, 2020 to start of Reporting of Round-1 i.e 9th Feb, 2022 for UG Counselling 2021.

The counselling body previously informed about the online reporting for candidates. All the concerned candidates who want to report to their respective allotted medical colleges in an online mode need to wait for further instructions from the institutions and assure that admission letter to them is generated online via the MCC portal.
