MDS Counselling 2021: MCC Notifies On Refund Process Towards 3552 Candidates

                                    New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), has informed about the refund process initiated towards 3552 candidates who had appeared for the MDS Counselling 2021 counselling sessions for this academic year admissions.
All MDS candidates who have participated in MDS Counselling 2021 are hereby informed that the refund of 3552 candidates who are eligible for refund as per MCC rules and regulations/counselling scheme has been made our financial custodian (List enclosed in the document attached below).
Candidates are advised to note the following:
1) Refunds have been sent to same account / Card from where the security deposit was remitted to MCC.
2) The refund will be credited to the candidate's account between 1 to 15 days depending upon the level of automation in candidate's bank.
3) If there is in-ordinate delay in crediting the refund, candidate should take up the matter with the "Grievance Cell" of his/her bank quoting the refund reference.
4) In case of any Refund related queries please contact financemcc@lifecarehll.com. Direct queries to MCC regarding Refund/ Payment will not be entertained
The candidates must note that the refund of following 7 candidates has not been made as of now since they had raised chargeback claim. The refund will be made only when the dispute is settled with the concerned banks, as per Counselling Scheme FAQ Chapter 9 Q. No. 76 which clearly deals with the question, "Can candidate initiate refund proceedings through chargeback claim through the card Issuing bank?," to which the answer is "NO. Candidates who has been allotted Roll # should not initiate refund proceedings through chargeback claim through the card issuing bank. If the chargeback claim is initiated, the Financial Custodian will be debarred by the Payment Gateway Service Providersfrominitiating directrefund. The candidate has to approach only their card issuing banks for refunds. Moreover, if chargeback claim is raised, refund will be inordinately delayed. Hence candidates are advised to not to initiate chargeback claim.
