The deceased was a second-year MBBS student from a medical college in Indore. She was a married woman who hailed from Bina. Apart from continuing her medical studies, she was also preparing for competitive exams.

As per a media report in FPJ, the incident took place on October 3 when her husband had gone to court and was away from home. She and her husband had been living in her in-laws' home in Chhola since Raksha Bandhan.

Taking the opportunity of her husband being away from home, the student hanged herself in her room. However, the incident was discovered around 3:30 pm when her sister-in-law Jyoti went to her room. Immediately, her sister-in-law and mother-in-law rushed her to a private hospital where she was declared brought dead by the doctors.

Soon, the police received the report and went to the spot where they failed to discover any suicide note which could have indicated the reason behind her sudden demise.

It is believed that the deceased married her husband, a resident of Shiv Nagar in Chhola, in December 2019.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted after the woman's parents arrive in Bina.
