MBBS, BDS Admissions: ESIC Allocates 465 Seats For Wards Of Insured Persons, Details

Delhi: Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has allocated 465 seats for admission to Wards of Insured Persons (IPs) in MBBS and BDS courses.
Most seats have been allotted to the MBBS course compared to BDS. 437 seats are available for MBBS and 28 seats for BDS. MBBS has 11 colleges, and BDS has 1 college across India where seats are allotted. The colleges are located in Faridabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Gulbarga, Hyderabad, Sanathnagar, Alwar, Bihta, Coimbatore, Mandi, and Kollam.
The team had earlier reported that the schedule for online application had been revised. The online link to apply for the “Ward of IP Certificate” will remain open until 31st May 2023 through the ESIC Website (www.esic.gov.in) window. The last date to issue a “Ward of IP Certificate” by the concerned ESIC Regional/Sub-Regional Office is extended up to 5th June 2023. Previously the last date to apply was 17th May 2023 till 11:59 pm, and the last date for issuing of 'Ward of IP Certificate' was 19th May 2023.

Candidates need to log in to the DGHS website (www.mcc.nic.in) and register themselves for the MBBS / BDS seats under 'Seats allocated for wards of insured persons (IPs)' in ESIC Medical / Dental Colleges as per instructions given on the website. All the interested/eligible Insured Persons (IPs) must apply well in time to avoid last-minute hassle.
Merit list would be prepared based on the All India rank of eligible applicants in the specified test/merit list for the year, consistent with the reservation policy of the Central Government for preparation of category-wise inter-se merit. Candidates will be allotted the seats, based on their merit cum preference of Institution and category, through centralized counselling for the 'Seats allocated for wards of insured persons (IPs).'
