Maha CET Cell Issued Notice On Mop Up Round For NEET PG, NEET MDS Admissions

Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell issued a notice for mop-up round candidates of NEET PG and NEET MDS admission.
As Per the notice, various queries are raised by the candidates regarding eligibility for subsequent rounds, which have been allotted a seat during the mop-up round. Maha CET Cell has clarified that if a candidate is allotted a seat during the state mop-up round, such a candidate is not eligible for any further round, including Stray Vacancy Round (Online & Offline).
For NEET PG, this is as per notification of MCI No.MCI-18 (1)/2018 Med./100818 dated 05/04/2018 and advisory issued by DGHS, New Delhi Ref.U-12021/06/2021- MEC, dated 16/03/2022 along with an order of Hon'ble Supreme Court in WP No.174 of 2022 dated 30/03/2022 and For NEET MDS This as per notification of MCI No.MCI-18 (1)/2018 Med./100818 dated 05/04/2018 and advisory issued by DGHS, New Delhi Ref.U-12021/06/2021- MEC, dated 16/03/2022 along with the order of Hon'ble Supreme Court in WP No.174 of 2022 dated 30/03/2022.
Eligibility criteria –
NEET PG –
1. Candidate must be an Indian National.
2. Non-Resident Indians (NRI) are not eligible for any other seat except NRI quota seats in Unaided Private and Private Minority Medical Colleges, subject to fulfilment of NRI status and other relevant eligibility criteria.
3. The candidate must have passed the final MBBS degree course examination from Maharashtra State College and completed one year of internship training by 31st July 2022 from a recognized medical college.
4. The candidate should be NEET PG qualified.
NEET MDS –
1. Candidate must be an Indian National.
2. Non-Resident Indians (NRI) are not eligible for any other seat except NRI quota seats in Unaided Private and Private Minority Medical Colleges, subject to fulfilment of NRI status and other relevant eligibility criteria.
3. The candidate must have passed the final BDS degree course examination from Maharashtra State College and completed one year of internship training by 31st July 2022 from a recognized dental college.
4. The candidate should be NEET MDS qualified.
NEET PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as a single entrance examination to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses. NEET MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as a single entrance examination to various postgraduate MDS and diploma courses.
The Government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.
