Madhya Pradesh: Patients Treated By AYUSH Doctors At Block Health Fairs

                                    Bhopal: Health fairs are being organized at the block level from April 18 in the Amrit Mahotsav of independence in the state. At the health fair, along with the health department, the AYUSH department is also treating patients with Indian system of medicine, mainly Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani system of medicine.
Regarding the health fair, the AYUSH department has issued guidelines to the departmental officers and doctors posted in the state. Departmental officers have been told that stalls focused on the activities of AYUSH Health and Wellness Center should be set up at the health fair.

The citizens should also be made aware about the importance of yoga and meditation in the fair. In the health fair being organized in the state, citizens are also being informed about medicinal plants and home remedies to be planted in the kitchen garden. Unique health identity cards are also being prepared for the patients attending the health camps. This card is being made under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
In the health fairs being organized at the block level, the doctors of the AYUSH department are giving information to the patients about the department's 'AYUSH Cure App'. Through this app, citizens are provided with the facility to consult AYUSH medical experts through free live video calls sitting at home. By registering themselves on the app, common citizens can choose Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani system of medicine at their convenience. So far, about 40 thousand people have downloaded the app from Google Play Store.
