KEA Reopens NEET 2024 Registration Portal For Vacant Seats, Details

Karnataka- The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the online registration window for the available medical seats in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) Stray Vacancy Round and for the available dental seats in the NEET UG mop-up round for the academic year 2024 till tomorrow i.e. 23rd October 2024.
As per the notice, the online registration window is once again opened as a few candidates have requested to enable the portal for online registration and to submit the application online to participate in the medical stray vacancy round and for the dental / AYUSH mop-up round. Hence, the online registration portal opened once again to the candidates who have not registered and submitted the application fee from 21 to 23 October 2024 till 11.59 pm to be eligible along with other candidates to participate in the medical stray vacancy round for the available medical seats, and for the dental / AYUSH seats available for mop-up round.

Along with this, candidates who have registered but did not complete the application can also complete the process of submitting the application online. Candidates who have scored the required minimum 50th percentile or above, fixed for the `GENERAL (UR)' category in the UGNEET-2024 examination are eligible to register in KEA for the available seats in the State of Karnataka. However, it is to be noted that the SC, ST and OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka SC, ST and OBC candidates only.
Therefore, the registration, submission of the application online & payment of the application fee is mandatory to become eligible for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH seats through KEA.
Karnataka Examinations Authority is governed by the Governing Council headed by the Honourable Minister of Higher Education. The Government of Karnataka established the Common Entrance Test Cell in the year 1994 for conducting entrance tests and determining the eligibility/merit, for admission to the first year or first semester of full-time professional courses for Government share of seats in Medical, Dental, Indian systems of medicine and Homeopathy, B-Pharma, Pharma-D Courses, etc.
