AIIMS Raipur invites online applications from Indian nationals/persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955 for the following posts on Direct Recruitment, Deputation, and Retired Faculty on a contract basis with the following criteria:

Posts Available

• Professor: Direct Recruitment/Deputation basis/Retired Faculty on Contractual Basis
• Additional Professor: Direct Recruitment/Deputation basis/Retired Faculty on Contractual Basis
• Associate Professor: Direct Recruitment/Deputation basis/Retired Faculty on Contractual Basis
• Assistant Professor: Direct Recruitment/Deputation basis

Essential Eligibility Criteria

For Professor

• A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act).
• A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. And/Or
• M.Ch. for Surgical super-specialities and D.M. for Medical super-specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or the qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Experience:

• Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or
• Twelve years teaching and/or research experience in the recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or
• Eleven years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized the degree of D.M/M.Ch in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Additional Professor

Experience: Ten years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Essential for super-speciality disciplines:

• Same as Professor (Medical)
• D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for Medical Super-specialties and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for Surgical super-specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Experience:

• Eight years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or
• Seven years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality for the candidate possessing 3 years recognized degree D.M./M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Associate Professor

Experience: Six years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Essential for super-speciality disciplines:

• Same as Professor (Medical)
• D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for Medical Super-specialties and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for Surgical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Experience:

• Four years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or
• Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality for the candidate possessing 3 years recognized degree D.M. /M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Assistant Professor

Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Essential for super-speciality disciplines:

• Same as Professor (Medical)
• D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for Medical super-specialties and M.ch. in the respective discipline/subject for Surgical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Experience: One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or the qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M./M.Ch or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Pay Scale for Recruitment under Direct Recruitment & Deputation Basis

• Professor: Level-14-A (168900-220400) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
• Additional Professor: Level-13-A2+ (148200-211400) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
• Associate Professor: Level-13-A1+ (138300-209200) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
• Assistant Professor: Level-12, (101500-167400) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable)

Lumpsum Remuneration for Retired Faculty (Consultants)

• Professor (Consultant): Rs. 2,20,000/-
• Additional Professor (Consultant): Rs. 2,00,000/-
• Associate Professor (Consultant): Rs. 1,88,000/-

Upper Age Limit

• Professor/Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 (Fifty-Eight) years as on closing date.
• Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 (Fifty) years as on closing date.

(i) Upper age limit shall be determined as on the last date of submission of online application.

(ii) No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC/PWD(OPH) candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.

(iii) Age relaxation permissible to various categories is as under:

• SC/ST: 05 Years
• OBC: 03 Years
• PWD(OPH): 05 Years
• Government Servant: 05 Years
