INI CET January 2026: AIIMS announces corrigendum on eligibility, check details

New Delhi:The All India Institute of Medical Sciences,AIIMS New Delhi, has released a corrigendum concerning the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) January 2026 session, announcing multiple changes in Prospectus Part-A and Part-B (PGIMER Chandigarh). These amendments, effective immediately, impact the eligibility and registration conditions for sponsored/deputed candidates and modify certain academic clauses. According to the corrigendum, AIIMS has allowed registered sponsored candidates for PGIMER Chandigarh to update or add their subject/speciality till October 21, 2025 (05:00 PM). No further requests or correspondence will be entertained after the deadline. Following changes have been made: PREVIOUS CLAUSE REVISED/UPDATED CLAUSE That the candidate concerned shall be an employee of the sponsoring authority and should have been working for three years (on or before 31st July & 31st January for July & January sessions respectively. A State Government can sponsor candidates only for those postgraduate (MD/MS/MD(HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATION)/MDS) courses which are not available in the State. A certificate regarding nonavailability of the course (for which the candidate is being sponsored) in the concerned State, duly signed by the Secretary/Director General of Health Services of the Central / State Government/ DGAFMS/Competent Authority or PSU/Autonomous Body, viz. The Director/Executive Head of the concerned organisation should be furnished in the format prescribed for this purpose. Additionally, the Subject/ Speciality to be filled in the Sponsored Certificate should be the same as mentioned in the notice of seat position for sponsored candidates; otherwise Sponsored category may not be considered. The candidate concerned shall be an employee of the deputing/ sponsoring authority and should have been working for three years (on or before 31st January/31st July for January/ July sessions) for All AIIMS/ NIMHANS, Bengaluru/SCTIMST, Trivandrum and candidates applying for JIPMER Puducherry/PGIMER, Chandigarh are required three-year service as mentioned in Prospectus Part B of the respective institute. For Sponsorship/Deputation at PGIMER, Chandigarh, I certify that- a Dr./Miss/Mrs./Mr. “”is being sponsored for training leading to the award of MD/MS/MDS Degree in “” at PGIMER, Chandigarh, for the session commencing in January 2026. b That Post-Graduate MD/MS/MDS course for which the candidate is being sponsored is not available in this State. For Sponsorship/Deputation at PGIMER, Chandigarh, I certify that- a Dr./Miss/Mrs./Mr. “”is being sponsored for training leading to the award of MD/MS/MDS Degree in “” at PGIMER, Chandigarh, for the session commencing in January 2026. b Clause Deleted Following Change/update in prospectus Part B (PGIMER Chandigarh) of AIIMS will be applicable with immediate effect:- PREVIOUS CLAUSE REVISED/UPDATED CLAUSE A candidate shall become eligible to appear for the final examination at the end of five years.
