Haryana Health Minister Calls For Proper Plan To Bring Cath Lab Facility For Cardiac Treatment
Chandigarh: In a bid to provide better health facilities for the patients ailing from heart problems, Haryana Health and Home Minister Anil Vij on Monday said that a proper plan will be prepared to bring the facility of 'Cath-Lab' to every a person in the state so that people do not have to travel long distances to get treatment for heart-related diseases.
Presiding over the Working Committee meeting of Maharaja Agrasen Medical College, Agroha, Mr Vij said that the state government is planning to provide open-heart surgery facility in another two to three places so that proper health services are provided to the people. Apart from that, he said that an appropriate action plan will be prepared for the same.
He said that he wishes that every citizen of the state should be provided excellent, affordable and accessible medical facilities so that people can get the health benefits at minimum cost. He said that the Medical College at Agroha will play an important role in this direction. This college is accessible to the people of that area and can help in dispensing treatment on the lines of Government Medical Colleges.
