Gurugram doctor arrested after child killed in car accident

Gurugram: The Gurugram police havearrestedagovernment doctor for allegedlyrunning over a four-year-old boy with his car on September 15, 2025, officials said on Saturday. The accused wasarrestedon Friday, and the police have seized the car. According to the police complaint, the incident took place when the boy was playing near his house, and an SUV driven by the doctor hit him and ran over him, news agency PTI reported. Jitender further mentioned that with the help of some locals, he took his son to a government hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Police said following the complaint, an FIR was registered against the car driver at Rajendra Park police station, and he was arrested on Friday. had earlier reported that in a major cyber fraud case, a former employee of a Noida-based private hospital and his associate have been arrested for allegedly siphoning off Rs 9 crore from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) health scheme payments over the past two years. While the cybercrime branch police have managed to recover Rs 77.33 lakh, the efforts to trace the remaining amount are underway.
