DME Gujarat Issues Guidelines For Round 1 Refund Process For PG AYUSH Candidates

                                    Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has issued important instructions for candidates' refunds (round 1) for the PG AYUSH admission process for 2022-23. The courses included are MD/MS Ayurved and MD Homoeopathy.
The online module for the refund process started at 1:00 pm on April 25, 2023, and will continue till 4:00 pm on May 01, 2023. Students who have either been admitted/not been admitted to the postgraduate course are eligible for a refund from the tuition fee paid at ACPPGMEC, and the candidates have to fill in the online details at http://www.medadmgujarat.org/pg/home.aspx regarding their refund, Bank Name; Bank Account No.; Bank MICR No.; IFSC No.; Account Holder Name.
For the refund of fees paid at ACPPGMEC, the NRI Candidates have to fill in the details of their Indian accounts. Do not fill in the details of the NRE/NRO account. The refund amount will be paid through Electronic Transfer to their bank account.

The following are the reasons for the failure of the transaction –
1. Mismatch in filled Account Details: Wrong Account No.; Wrong IFSC Code; etc.
2. Dormant/Freeze account due to banking reasons.
If any mistake is found in the details of the refund, then report ACPPGMEC through the following e-mail: medadmgujarat2018@gmail.com.
The Government of Gujarat, in the Legislative Assembly, has passed an act, Act No.3 of 2008, called "Gujarat Professional Educational Medical Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007," to make special provision for the regulation of admission in the Professional Medical educational courses in the State and fixation of fees in such colleges or institutions and for matter connected in addition to that. As per the powers conferred to State Government, in Section 20(1) of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat, by way of a notification, had constituted "Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC)" to regulate the admission of candidates to the Professional MD/MS/Diploma, MDS degree, and PG AYUSH courses. The mission assigned to this Committee is to conduct the counseling process fairly and transparently. The admission process is conducted by this Committee strictly based on the candidate's merit.
