DME Gujarat Informs On Cancellation Of Admission In MBBS, BDS Courses In Round 1

                                    Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) informed about the cancellation of admission in MBBS and BDS courses in round 1.
As per the notice, the candidates who have been admitted and deposited the tuition fees as per rules in HDFC Bank, along with submitting the original documents at the help center designated by the Admission Committee whose admission is confirmed but now wants to cancel their admission will have to the Help Center designated by the Admission Committee (where the original certificates are deposited) to cancel the admission. This can be done till 21st November 2022, 1:00 pm
Recently the schedule for choice filling for round 2 was announced by DME. Candidates can do the choice filling till 21st November 2022, 4:00 pm. The choices filled will be displayed up to 21st November 2022, midnight. All the candidates, including those in the Merit List of ACPUGMEC, can participate in the 2nd round, irrespective of the admission status of the candidate of round 1.
In round 2, the candidate will not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of round 1. Candidates who have not taken part in round 1 in ACPUGMEC and participate directly in round 2 will also not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in the allotment process of round 1.
Eligibility –
1. Candidates must be NEET UG qualified.
2. Candidates must be Indian citizens.
3. Candidates who have cleared their class 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subject.
4. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December 2022.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is being conducted by NTA for admission to undergraduate medical education, with the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and MHRD. The test is conducted once a year.
The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the state's health needs.
Recently team reported that DME had announced the schedule for 3rd online mop-up round for PG Medical and Dental admission. Non reported candidates list for round 2 has also been released. Candidates can do the choice filling till 21st November 2022, 4:00 pm. The choices filled will be displayed up to 21st November 2022, midnight.
