The counseling body has notified that for round 2, candidates will have to pay the refundable registration fees. If a candidate is allotted a seat in round 2 of counseling but does not take admission or, after taking admission, cancels the seat, then the registration fees will be forfeited.

Registration Fees

  • Government Medical Colleges: Rs 25,000 (unreserved) and Rs 12,500 (SC/ST/OBC)
  • Private Medical Colleges: Rs 200,000 (unreserved and SC/ST/OBC)

Candidates who have paid the registration fees for private medical colleges don't need to pay the Government medical colleges registration fees.

Candidates can pay the registration fee between 8th February 2022 and 11th February 2022. After 6:00 pm, the fees cannot be paid. The registration fees can be paid through internet banking, debit card, or credit card, and the amount will be refunded only to the same account.

After the allotment, if the candidates take admission to the institute but continue with postgraduate exams, the registration fees will be refunded to the same account from which the amount is transferred. If the candidates in round 2 do not take admission after the allotment, then the registration fees will be forfeited.

DME has requested the candidates to keep in mind that the registration fees can be forfeited, so they must select the college and subjects accordingly. Along with the registration fees option, selecting the college and course is provided. The college and the course selected in round 1 will not be considered for round 2. In round 2, candidates will have to fill in new college and course preferences.

Candidates should carefully fill the college and course preferences because if they do not take admission, the registration fees will be forfeited. The candidates should also fill in the preferences according to the time frame notified by DME for safety purposes.

Candidates are requested to constantly check www.cgdme.co.in for details regarding future counseling rounds and other details. For Lady Hardinge Medical College and Government medical college for postgraduate courses, allotment will be done by the committee formed by DME. Candidates should not contact any private institution or person for counseling.
