DME Chhattisgarh Issues Notice On Allotment Of Round 2 For Government Seats For MBBS, BDS Admission

Chattisgarh: The Director of Medical Education (DME Chhattisgarh) issued details related to the allotment of round 2 for government seats for MBBS and BDS admission. The allotment list has also been released.
Detailed schedule –
1. Last date for scrutiny (physical/offline mode) – 3rd December 2022, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
2. Last date for admission (physical/offline mode) – 4th December 2022, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The registration fee will be forfeited if candidates don't join the allotted seat/resign from the assigned seat after taking it. The allotment list has also been released.
The admission process for MBBS will be carried out at Shri Balaji Medical College Raipur, Raipur Institute of Medical Science, Raipur, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Smriti Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya Raipur, and Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences Bhilai. All the colleges are requested to send one representative to the place of scrutiny to complete the admission process.
Per the notice, the scrutiny process for BDS will be carried out at Government Dental College, Raipur. After the process of scrutiny, the admission process will be carried out. All the dental colleges are requested to send one representative to the place of scrutiny to complete the admission process.
Candidates note that after the admission process, they must take the admission receipt, or the admission will not be considered valid. Till 11.59 pm, the admission receipt can be downloaded on the last date. The online report for scrutiny will be issued till 11:59 pm on the last date.
All the colleges will have to carry out the scrutiny and admission process by following the 2018 admission rule.
The allotment list has also been released. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
Eligibility criteria –
1. Candidates must be citizens of India.
2. Candidates must not be less than 17 years old on or before 31st December 2022.
3. Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as their core subjects.
4. Candidates must be NEET UG qualified.
The Directorate of Medical Education conducts NEET UG counseling. The admissions are based on NEET UG. The seat allotment is done based on the choices filled by candidates, reservation, state merit rank, NEET UG marks, and other factors.
DME is the administrative body of Chhattisgarh and overlooks Medical Education in the State through Medical and Dental Colleges. It plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the health needs of the State. Research is another area of activity for the Medical Education Department.
