DCI Directs All Dental Colleges To Upload Details Of MDS Students Admitted During Special Stray Vacancy Round

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Dental Council of India (DCI) has asked all the detail colleges to furnish the complete details of students (by E-mail upto 14th January, 2023 (12:00 midnight)) admitted during Special Stray Vacancy Round for MDS Seats-2022 of All India Quota/ Central University/ Central Institute/ Deemed University - admitted at Dental Colleges for the academic session 2022-2023. The DCI has asked the colleges to upload this information on the DCI Website
As per the Schedule & guidelines for “online counselling for Special Stray Vacancy Round for MDS Seats-2022 of All India Quota/ Central University/ Central Institute/ Deemed University only for vacant 62 MDS seats” (also available on DCI Website) and the last date of joining is 14th January, 2023 (reporting at allotted college 10th January, 2023 to 14th January, 2023).
In view of the above, the DCI has asked the colleges to furnish the complete details of each & every student admitted in MDS Courses at your dental college in DCI prescribed format (copy attached) during the Special Stray Vacancy Round, duly allotted by the MCC for the same, alongwith allotment letter issued by the MCC, for the academic session 2022-2023, on or before the last date of joining i.e. 14th January, 2023 (12:00 midnight), positively by e-mail. If the college authorities claim any admission(s) after 12:00 midnight of 14th January, 2023, then Section 10B of the Dentists (Amendment) Act, 1993 and/or Section 16A of the Dentists Act, 1948, as the case may be, shall be attracted and it shall be presumed that the college authorities have not admitted such student(s) in MDS Course(s) at their dental college for the academic session 2022-23.
"It is strictly re-iterated that details of concerned student(s) received upto 14th January, 2023 (12:00 midnight) shall be considered for uploading on DCI website. Therefore, you are requested to send the above mentioned requisite details through e-mail / post / any other mode, that must reach the DCI office on or before 14th January,2023. It is also stated that no request for extension of time to submit the above stated details of student(s) or any other excuse or reason of technical fault, shortage of time, etc. shall be considered at all, the notice said.

All the concerned competent authorities are requested to kindly ensure that the college authorities to comply with the above stipulations in totality.
