Faridkot: Through a recent notice, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, (BFUHS) has invited fresh online applications for admission to MDS courses keeping in view of the lowering of NEET MDS 2021 cutoff.
had recently reported that the NEET MDS 2021 qualifying cut off has been lowered by 23.029 percentile for each category.
The qualifying percentile for the NEET MDS 2021 has been lowered from 50 to 26.971 for the general category bringing the score from 259 to 185 marks. For the SC/ST/OBC candidates, the qualifying percentile has been reduced from 40 to 16.971, hence the score goes down from 227 to 152; whereas for PwD (Persons with disabilities) category, the revised cut-off percentile is 21.971 down from 45, the score hence lowered from 243 to 170 marks.

Therefore, fresh online registration/applications are invited by BFUHS for MDS courses along with requisite fee from candidates through university website upto 18.11.21. The counseling will be held at Senate Hall, BFUHS, Faridkot on 20.11.21 at 10.00AM.
• The following candidates are eligible for 2nd stray vacancy round:

The candidates who are registering for the first time.

The candidates who have resigned/surrendered the allotted seat of 1st Counseling and exit with forfeiture of fee can apply afresh.

The candidates who have not joined the allotted seat of 2nd Counseling and exit with forfeiture of fee can apply afresh.
Note : The candidates who have registered upto stray vacancy round and submitted the registration fee, are required to register again but they need not to submit application fee again. Only those candidates will be considered for counseling who will register afresh from 16.11.21 to 18.11.21.
• The candidates who are not eligible for 2nd stray vacancy round.

The candidates who are holding/joined the allotted seat of Round I or Round II, mop-up round, 1st stray vacancy round.
The provisional merit will be displayed on university website on 19.11.2021. For detailed schedule/prospectus.
