Puducherry: The Government of Puducherry Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) invites fresh applications for admission to the first year BDS Course in Government / Self-financing Dental Colleges.

The candidates have to be NEET-UG qualified to apply. The application can be filled online till 13th May 2022, 10:00 am. For details, candidates need to visit www.centacpuducherry.in.
Before proceeding to register online, the candidates are advised to carefully read the application details and keep ready the scanned images of photograph, signature, and other relevant certificates. Furthermore, as per the notice, the candidates should ensure that they are entering the All India Counseling rank against the NEET rank while filling up the applications.

The selection process of the candidates who want to take admission in the colleges will base on the following criteria -

1. All the eligibility criteria should match set by the exam committee.
2. Correct information must be filled in during the online application, and proper documents must be submitted.
3. Once the form is submitted, the merit list will be prepared as per the marks of the candidates in NEET.
4. Then, the college cut-off will be released.
5. The qualifying candidates will then have to appear for counselling.
Eligibility criteria for BDS admission –
1. Candidates must have passed the H.Sc. examination conducted by the board of higher secondary examination of the state or any other equivalent exam.
2. Candidates must have cleared Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Biotechnology, Botany, and Zoology along with English as one of the subjects.
3. The candidates must be Indian nationals.
4. Candidates should be at least 17 years old at the time of admission.
CENTAC is a common admission portal to all the colleges of Puducherry and is established by the Government of Puducherry. Under this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and those who have appeared in such qualifying examination are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella.
