CENTAC Asks MBBS, BDS, BAMS Candidates To Update Admission Willingess On Portal, Details

Puducherry: The Government of Puducherry Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) has recently notified that the candidates who have already applied in NEET may opt/update their willingness for All India (Management quota) / NRI / NRI / National Self-Supporting quota for admission to the first year MBBS/BDS/BAMS courses in Government and Self Financing Medical / Dental colleges.
The last date for updating the application is 13th January 2022 till 6.00 pm.
CENTAC has asked the candidates to log in using their dashboard and update their willingness in the recent notification. After submission of willingness and payment, if necessary, candidates can RESET and then SUBMIT course preferences once again.
While filling up the application, OBC Candidates seeking admission to B.V.Sc.& A.H. National Self Supporting Seats should submit their ALL INDIA OBC NON-CREAMY LAYER certificate as an attachment. Candidates opting for NRI / NRI seats should submit necessary certificates if not submitted earlier.
CENTAC has notified that SMS/ Mail has been sent to the candidates to check the website for details.
The selection process of the candidates who want to take admission in the colleges will depend upon all eligibility criteria set by the exam committee, filling in correct information during the online application, and submitting correct documents. Once the form is submitted, the merit list will be prepared as per the marks of the candidate's UG NEET. As per the recent notification Merit List for NEET-based courses is yet to be published.
After the Merit List is published, the college cut-off will be released. The qualifying candidates will then have to appear for counseling.
CENTAC is a common admission portal to Puducherry colleges and was established by the Government of Puducherry. Under this, the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and those who have appeared in such qualifying examinations are eligible for admission. There are various courses under its umbrella.
