Caught On Camera: MP Doctor Shot Inside Clinic By Miscreants, Probe On

Morena: In a chilling incident, a doctor from Morena district in Madhya Pradesh was shot by miscreants at his clinic in broad daylight. Fortunately, he survived the incident but is currently in critical condition and has been admitted to a trauma centre in Gwalior.
A CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media which showed two miscreants approaching the clinic. They took out their pistols and fired at the doctor while standing outside the clinic in broad daylight with locals sitting nearby. Upon hearing the gunshots, terrified locals ran away to protect themselves.
It is reported that the accused fired three rounds at the doctor, one of which is said to have pierced him, thereby causing the doctor to collapse inside his clinic. After shooting the doctor, the attackers immediately fled the spot.

The incident was reported from the Sadar Bazaar area under the Banmore police station limit in Morena where the doctor was treating a patient in his clinic when the firing occurred.
According to the viral footage, four men arrived at the clinic on two motorbikes but two of them shot the doctor outside the clinic and the other two were allegedly sitting on a motorbike guarding the shooters. After shooting the doctor, four of them fled from the spot.
Following the incident, the police immediately reached the spot and rushed the unconscious doctor to the hospital. Further, the doctors there referred him to a trauma centre in Gwalior due to his critical condition.
It is unknown why the miscreants tried to kill the doctor. Therefore the police are currently investigating the case to determine the cause after registering an FIR in this regard.
Additional Superintendent of Police Dr Arvind Thakur told Free Press Journal, "The shooting might be linked to a property dispute involving the doctor. However, all angles are being investigated at present. The accused are believed to be between 24 and 25 years old, and efforts are underway to track them down based on the CCTV evidence."
