Cancer Hospital To Be Opened In Tohana: Vij

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Monday said that a cancer hospital will be opened in Tohana and its construction process is ongoing, which will soon be completed.

The Minister said that with the opening of the Cancer Hospital at Tohana, the patients will get treatment easily. He informed that at present, the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Badsa in Jhajjar district is providing facilities for the treatment of the third stage of cancer to patients in the state. Apart from this, a new cancer hospital of the same grade is also being set up in Ambala and will be opened soon.

Mr. Vij said that all the hospitals in the state with more than 100 beds will be air-conditioned and all dysfunctional hospitals will be renovated to provide excellent health services to the people. He said that Cath lab, Trauma centers, and Hemodialysis centers will soon be started to provide treatment facilities to the people of the state near their homes.

He said that 400 wellness centers will be opened in the state. Out of these, 200 centers have been prepared and construction work of the remaining centers is in process. He informed that the doctors and other staff have been approved at these centers, who will provide excellent health services to the patients.
