Bihar Cabinet Gives Nod For 100 New Veterinary Hospitals

Patna: Bihar government has decided to construct 100 new veterinary hospitals for providing better treatment facilities, vaccination and other Medical Services to the cattles across the state.
The Cabinet gave its approval for the same in a meeting held here on Tuesday under the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
After the meeting, Additional Cabinet Chief Secretary S Siddharth told news persons that the hundred new veterinary hospitals and residential complexes would be constructed in the current financial year.

Siddharth said that at the rate of Rs 107.69 lakh per hospital, the cabinet has approved Rs 107.69 crore for construction of 100 hospitals through the loan to be provided by the RIDF NABARD in the financial year 2023-24.
The Additional Cabinet CS said that 30 new posts have been created in the consumer forum to dispose off the pending cases of the consumers. According to him 35 appointments would also be made in the transport department and 16 in the engineering colleges.
