Gujarat: 1060 Seats Remain Vacant After 6th Offline Round for BAMS and BHMS Courses
The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has announced this through a written notice. The institution-wise allotment list has also been released.
After completing the admission process, a total of 364 seats of the Ayurveda course and 696 seats of the Homeopathy course remain vacant after being offered to all the candidates included in the merit list of the admission committee here. The 6th offline round started on 21.1.2023 and concluded on 25.1.2023. The counselling process was carried out at 14 help centres across Gujarat. All the candidates who are included in the Merit-list of ACPUGMEC could participate in the 6th offline round, except the candidates who have secured and joined admission in MBBS & BDS courses in previous rounds of Medical Counseling Committee (MCC)/previous rounds of State Quota OR except the candidates, who have secured and joined admission in BAMS OR BHMS courses through AACCC, New Delhi.

The candidates were called as per the merit rank and will be allotted admission on vacant seats if a vacancy arises due to the upgradation of seats during counselling. They were offered seats per the previous closure, vacancy and merit rank.
All institutes will fill vacant seats transparently based on the merit list of All India (NEET-UG-2022) NCISM/NCH and Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India eligibility norms. Every institution has to complete all admission procedures as per the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine/National Commission for Homeopathy New Delhi as well as the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India Time Table (Admission Schedule).
Further, candidates should note that the admission of the admitted candidates to the Ayurveda and Homoeopathy graduate course will not be cancelled by the admission committee under any circumstances.
