                                    Ahmedabad: Through a recent notice, the Admission Committee for Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) has released the schedule for offline Round of Counselling for CPS courses for this academic session of 2020-21.
All the interested candidates who are vying for admission into CPS courses are requested to view the schedule as released by the counselling authority on its official website:

THOSE STUDENTS, WHO HAVE SELECTED HELP-CENTER ONLINE FOR OFFLINE ROUND, WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OFFLINE ROUND.

IMPORTANT:
• No proxy and authority will be allowed in the Offline round. Offline round is an offline counseling process, so candidates must come in person as per the schedule of his/her merit numbers.
• All the candidates are instructed to see the number of vacant seats available for the Offline round before coming for counseling as per schedule.
• Candidate must reach the selected Help Center 30 minutes before the scheduled time for counselling.

The Government of Gujarat, in the Legislative Assembly has passed an act, Act No.3 of 2008 called "Gujarat Professional Educational Medical Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007" to make special provision for regulation of admission in the Professional Medical educational courses in the State and fixation of fees in such colleges or institutions and for matter connected therewith. As per the powers conferred to State Government, in Section 20(1) of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat, by way of a notification had constituted "Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC)" to regulate the admission of candidates to the Professional MD/MS/Diploma & MDS degree courses. The mission assigned to this Committee is to carry out the counselling process in a fair and transparent manner. The admission process is conducted by this Committee strictly on the basis of merit of the candidate.
