976 MBBS, BDS Seats Available Under Management Quota At Private Medical Colleges In Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu: The tentative vacancy position for MBBS/BDS course in self-financing medical/dental colleges under management quota has been released by the Director of Medical Education (DME).
A total of 976 seats are allotted in self-financing medical/dental colleges under management quota. MBBS has 530 seats allotted and BDS has 446 seats allotted.
17 colleges are there under MBBS. Telugu Minority has a total of 68 seats, Malayalam Minority has 5, Christian Minority has 37, the open category has 92, and NRI lapsed has 328.
Under BDS 19 colleges are there. Telugu Minority has a total of 84 seats, Malayalam Minority has 80, Christian Minority has 70, the open category has 197, and NRI lapsed has 446.
Minority seats will be allotted for eligible minority candidates in the minority merit list. As per DME, in due course, if any unfilled minority seats remain in self-financing MBBS/BDS, then they will be filled by the general management rank list. Hence candidates can also register and choice lock for management/ minority seats.
