Hyderabad:In an unfortunate incident, a 29-year-old doctor allegedly died bysuicideat the apartment of his fiancée, a Tollywood actress, in Prashasan Nagar, Jubilee Hills. While the exact reason behind his death remains unknown, the doctor, before his demise, posted a 15-second video on his Instagram account, in which he said, "I have made a lot of mistakes in my life, and I will not repeat such mistakes again." During the preliminary investigation, the deceased doctor's fiancée told the police that she suspects unresolved financial matters between the doctor and his ex-girlfriend may have driven him to take the extreme step. After reaching home in the evening, the fiancée found the door open and saw him hanging from the ceiling in the dining area. As per aTOImedia report, the doctor, a native of Rajasthan, worked as a doctor in an e-commerce company, where he treated the workers. Following his death, the police were informed, who reached the residence and sent the doctor's body for postmortem after the forensic clues team collected evidence from the scene. The couple met on Instagram in February 2025 and got engaged in July. The police have registered a case of suspicious death under Section 194 of the BNS and have initiated an investigation. recently reported that a second-year pediatric resident doctor at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni, reportedly committed suicide in his room. Following his death, his colleagues alleged that he was suffering from pressure due to an alleged extreme workload, toxic work culture, and constant humiliation by the head of the Pediatrics Department.
