29 Seats Available For Round 2 Counselling Of Sponsored Candidates For MD, MS Courses, PGI Chandigarh Releases Tentative Seat Matrix

Chandigarh: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has announced a tentative seat position for the 2nd counselling of candidates for admission to MD/MS course for July 2022 sessions.
A total of 29 seats are there for admission to MD/MS course for July 2022 sessions.
Detailed seat matrix –
1. Anaesthesia and Intensive Care - 3
2. Biochemistry - 2
3. Community Medicine - 3
4. Forensic Medicine - 1
5. Medicine - 1
6. Microbiology - 4
7. Obstetrics & Gynaecology - 2
8. Pathology - 5
9. Pharmacology - 4
10. General Surgery - 2
11. Transfusion Medicine – 2
The candidates who applied under the category for admission to MD/MS course and qualified for the INI-CET (July-2022) conducted by AIIMS New Delhi need to attend the 2nd physical counselling for admission to the above said courses on 3rd August 2022 at 12:00 pm in the Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

All the qualified and eligible candidates are required to produce NOC and certificates from their respective employers before counselling, failing which they will not be considered for counselling and admission.
Candidates are requested to be seated in the auditorium at 11:45 am sharp on the counselling date and follow social distancing and Covid-19 protocol.
Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is a public medical university in Chandigarh and was conceived in 1960 as a centre of excellence. It has educational, medical research, and training facilities for its students, including all specialities, super specialities, and sub-specialities.
