2-Year Diploma In Paramedical Courses: MUHS To End Registration Process On February 5, Details

Maharashtra- The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik has issued a circular regarding the registration and eligibility of students seeking admission for a two-year Diploma in Paramedical courses during the academic year 2023-24.
The circular has announced that the admission process for the first year of the two-year Diploma in Para Medical courses for the academic year 2023-24 has started.
The admission process is to be completed on or before 05 February 2024. No admissions are to be made after this cut-off date.
The process of Registration & Eligibility of the students admitted during the academic year is to be completed within the schedule prescribed by the university.

The process of granting eligibility to the students will be carried out as per the rules & regulations and Ordinance 3/2010 of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. As per the direction of this University, for admitting foreign students for Diploma in Paramedical Courses (DPM), the following documents shall be necessary at the time of admission.
Permission from Govt. of India.
12th std. Equivalency certificate from AIU.
Nationality Certificate and Migration Certificate for foreign nationals.
Eligibility Criteria for granting Registration & Eligibility to the students admitted to the first year of Two Two-year Diploma in Para Medical Courses is as under:
(a) The Army/Navy/Air Force Personnel should be national of the respective country.
(b) The Army/Navy/Air Force Personnel should have passed his (10 + 2) examination of CBSE or equivalent board with Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks. However, eligibility for, courses governed by AERB are required to meet additional criteria laid down by AERB.
(c) Have obtained 60% marks in the Medical Assistant-II 'Qualifying' Course. For Navy personnel and 50% marks in Nursing Assistants Class III for Army personnel.
(d) The Navy Personnel should have completed three years of physical service and Army/Air Force personnel should have completed two years of physical service.
(e) Should have qualified for the CommQn Entrance Test (Leading Medical Assistant Qualifying Board) conducted by their respective Commands and any other criteria as decided by the Indian Army/Navy/Air Force.
(f) Should have a good service record.
(g) The candidate must be Medically Fit.

The list of admitted students should be submitted to the University at the University e-mail address given in the circular or by the college representative. The list of admitted students should be submitted on or before 12.00 noon on 05 February 2024. The list will be considered final and no changes will be made in the list thereafter.
All admissions for the academic year 2023-24 must be registered online on or before 05 February 2024.
Prior use of phase I Dean/Principal should enter the information of admitted students based on the ID & Password issued by the Academic Dept. of the University. The portal is available on the university website. Students are advised to fill in their information correctly such as the student's name, mobile number, date of admission, category of student and admitte4d under category.
The online link for the Submission of data of admitted students will be closed at 11.59 pm on 05 Feb 2024.
The Students who will register themselves on or before the date only those proposals will be acceptable.

Meanwhile, in phase II, the Student shall fill up the correct information for Registration & Eligibility, then the respective college should download the application, and submit the eligibility admission form along with the following supporting documents duly attested to the university as per schedule:
Latest colour photographs (Size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) duly attested by Dean/Principal.
Student's Eligibility admission form duly attested by Dean/Principal.
Student's Eligibility admission form duly attested by Dean/Principal.
Copies of all required certificates duly attested.
The Link for Phase II will be closed on the 21st day after the cut-off date at 11.59 pm.

At the time of submission of proposals for Registration & Eligibility of admitted students, the original copy of the e-mail list of admitted students duly signed by the Dean/Principal of the College must be submitted to the University.
The eligibility status of the student must be verified by the concerned school as per prescribed norms and thereafter their proposals of Registration & Eligibility along with the original documents and attested copies must be submitted to the University within the stipulated period for grant of eligibility.

The original documents & one set of attested photocopies of the following are to be submitted as per the following order. Additionally, the Original documents from Sr. No. I to VII are to be Submitted separately and Sr. No. VIII and X are to be attached with the proposal of the student-
Nationality Certificate: Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate/ Additional District Magistrate OR Metropolitan Magistrate OR the Transfer Certificate of 12th Std. mentioning the nationality of the student OR the Birth Certificate mentioning the name & nationality of the student OR a photocopy of a Valid Passport duly attested by the Commanding Officer of the school will be considered as Proof of Nationality.

Copy of Service Record attested by the Commanding Officer of the school.
Should have qualified the Common Entrance Test (leading Medical Assistant qualifying board) conducted by their respective Commands and any other criteria as decided by the Indian Army/Navy/Air Force.
School or college Leaving/Transference Certificate (L.C./T.C.)
Medical fitness certificate: Signed by the Medical Officer.
Migration Certificate: if Applicable.
It should be noted that, for the educational gap students, they need to admit the Self Educational Gap affidavit duly signed by the Executive Magistrate / Notary.
The notice has also specially instructed that the discrepancies of the documents must be submitted within one month from the cut-off date failing which the late fees @ Rs.50/- per student per week will be charged to the candidate.

Lastly, the registration & Eligibility fees of the admitted students must be paid by RTGS & submit the receipt to the University along with Eligibility & Registration Proposals.
Once, the Registration & Eligibility fee is submitted by the college to the University is non-refundable & non-transferable.
